Her-Ritt Ltd. was established in 1995 as a family business, its main profile is the production and sale of agricultural products. In 1999 we planted 100 ha of Chasselas grapes, then in 2014 we changed direction towards the wine grapes due to the market effects and planted our first Cserszegi Fűszeres (The attribute fűszeres means spicy) plantation.
From 2015, we are continuously replace the Chasselas plantation by changing the variety with a modern metal support system, we will reach the end of this process in autumn of 2021. We have also managed to expand the area over the years, so we are already cultivate 140 ha of vineyards to the best of our knowledge.
We have the extensive and modern machinery needed to cultivate the plantations, from pruning to harvesting. The plantations are located on the border of Kecel and Imrehegy, between the Danube and the Tisza (Duna Tisza köze Region), in Bács-Kiskun county.
The year 2018 was a big turning point when the 2nd phase of the change direction has started, with the construction of its own winery. We took the difficulties successfully and in 2019 our first grape processing of our own occured. After the change of plantations, we are constantly planning to
expand and develop the winery. With winemaking, we aim to produce possibly the best quality of wine under the given conditions, with continuous learning and technological development.
Our business operates completely in a family way, our parents have more than 40 years of experience in viticulture, which is constantly handed over to us, and we learn winemaking together with great enthusiasm.
